ALWAYS Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth
December 5, 2019
Kent Weimer
Why come? You need to recognize the warning signals to watch for when gifts come with restrictions or require extra work by your organization’s staff.
Who should attend? Everyone who takes part in gift acceptance discussions and decisions.
What you’ll take away: • An understanding of the long-term and legal side effects of restricted gifts. • A library of helpful words and phrases to use in difficult conversations. • Confidence to decline gifts that really are more trouble than they’re worth.
